Columbia unveils new ‘Park and Play’ mobile recreation van

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — The City of Columbia Parks and Recreation Department made the grand debut of the ‘Park and Play’ mobile recreation van Thursday.

The celebration took place at Saint Anna’s Park where the community took part in Park and Play’s mission to build relationships, and enjoy The benefits of physical activity, creative expression, and social interaction. Guests were also treated to food from Humana, sports, games and more.

We spoke Parks and Recreation Interim Director, Kenya Bryant on what the ‘Park and Play’ hopes to accomplish for the Midlands community.
