Forest Acres Police arrest woman in connection with attempted murder of husband

FOREST ACRES, S.C. (WOLO)– Forest Acres Police say a woman has been arrested for attempting to murder her husband.
According to investigators, Brittany Hernandez was arrested for attempted murder of her husband after an incident happened on Tuesday night, Jan. 28.
Officers responded to the intersection of Harrison Road and Bagnal Drive after receiving a report from a witness who saw a pedestrian be hit and dragged by a Chevy Traverse SUV between 6:35 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.
By the time officers arrived to the scene, the injured man had disappeared.
Law enforcement say the witness also reported seeing two minors, who was later identified as passengers in the SUV, get out of the vehicle, pull the man from under the vehicle and put him back inside of the SUV before it drove off.
The following day after investigators searched for evidence and looked for security footage from nearby businesses, Hernandez was identified as the suspect.
Forest Acres Police Department says when officers visited Hernandez’s home they found the injured man inside.
Also, investigators say the man did not receive medical care and was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
