Groundhog Day- Did Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow?

Pennsylvania (WOLO)–  Punxsutawney Phil predicted six more weeks of winter Sunday morning at Gobbler’s Knob in Pennsylvania.

The groundhog saw his shadow which tradition says means more wintry weather.

This is a big year for Phil, he and his partner Phyllis welcomed two baby groundhogs back in March.

According to tradition, having a groundhog decide if there’s more winter to come or if spring will arrive early, dates back to February 2, 1887, in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.
