Kroger to be first tenant for former Richland Mall development

FOREST ACRES, S.C. (WOLO)– The first tenant for the formerly occupied space that once was home to Richland Mall has been announced.

The City of Forest Acres, and Southeastern Development announced the development will feature a 120 thousand square foot Kroger grocery store.

Officials say the Kroger currently located across the street will remain open until the new store is complete, which is scheduled for about 18 months.
