UPDATE: Missing man found safe
Authorities with the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office say Albert Kent Weymouth, Jr. went missing at the Brick House Campground along the Palmetto Trail.
He was located by emergency services Saturday morning around 8:30 a.m.
Authorities say by all appearances, he seems to be doing well.

Newberry Co, SC (WOLO) — The Newberry County Sheriff’s Office is hoping someone in the community may be able to help them locate an elderly man they say has disappeared.
Authorities say 82 year old Albert Kent Weymouth, Jr. who went missing at the Brick House Camp Ground along the Palmetto Trail.
Weymouth stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs roughly 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light blue polo shirt, khaki pants and a grey and green boonie hat. If you happen to see him you’re asked to call 9-1-1.
