COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, you can attend the 9th annual Juneteenth Freedom Fest and Parade next weekend.

The event celebrates culture and community with live music, food tucks, games, and more.

It takes place on Saturday, June 21, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sumter and Gervais Streets in Columbia. Admission is free.

Accessibility mornings will return to the South Carolina State Museum this Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

There will be a quieter, sensory-friendly environment for guests with disabilities.

The state museum will also stay open late on select Fridays throughout the Summer.

You can explore the exhibits and watch films featuring costumes from the Disney Heroes and Villains Costume exhibit.

Bank of America is teeing up affordable rounds of golf for young players here in the Midlands as part of the company’s ‘Golf with Us’ program.

For $5 or less per round, kids ages 6 to 18 can tee off at local courses, and get a registered handicap with the U.S. Golf Association.

Parents can sign up through Sunday, June 15.
