Coroner identifies Lake Marion drowning victim

Orangeburg Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Monday the Orangeburg Co. Coroner identified the person who drowned on Lake Marion on June 27th.

According to the coroner, Casey Lynch, 38 of Elloree was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials say an autopsy is scheduled.

According to the SC Dept. of Natural Resources, Lynch jumped from a pontoon boat and never resurfaced.
