Firefighters respond to bus fire on I-77

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– The Columbia-Richland Fire Department responded to a bus fire on I-77 just before noon Friday.

Officials say a charter bus headed back from a church summer camp north of Columbia back to Pawleys Island.

The bus caught fire while  it was near the Wilson Blvd. exit.

30 people were on the bus at the time including children. No one was hurt.
