Lt. Governor Pamela Evette announces run for S.C. governor

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette has officially announced her run for governor.

She made the announcement Greenville on Monday, July 14.

Evette also announced her candidacy with a video on facebook that includes both Governor Henry McMaster and President Donald Trump.

Governor Henry McMaster will reach his term limit in 2027.

Attorney General Alan Wilson and Senator Josh Kimbrell have also officially announced they’re running.

The South Carolina Gubernatorial Election is November 3, 2026.
