Arrest made in connection with Dutch Fork student stabbing death

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Lexington Police have made an arrest in connection with the stabbing death of a Dutch Fork High school student. Lexington Police say they have arrested 18 year old Kierin Dennis of Lexington, he faces murder charges and posession of a deadly weapon charges. Police say Dennis stabbed to death DaVon Capers Monday night outside a restaurant in Lexington. Police say several tips from witnesses led to Dennis’ arrest. Dennis is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
