Firefighters control structure fire in Camden

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Firefighters responded to Brewer Springs Road for a reported residential structure fire, said officials.

Engine 15 reported an approximate 4500 square foot house with heavy fire from the rear of the structure.

Officials said, firefighters were able to bring the fire under control with minimal damage to a majority of the home.

The American Red Cross was notified to provide assistance to the family, according to Kershaw County Fire Service.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
