Publix opening location in Bull Street District

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A new grocery store is coming to the Bull Street District.

On Wednesday, Dec. 3, developers announced a new Publix location will be built next to the REI co-op at Bull Street and Colonial Drive.

Officials say the more than 50 thousand square foot grocery store will enhance walkable access to groceries and everyday essentials for thousands of people who live, work, and visit Downtown Columbia.

Publix on Bull Street is scheduled to break ground in the summer of next year.
