Rosewood Elementary School celebrates 100th birthday

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Happy birthday Rosewood Elementary School.

The school is 100 years old on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026.

This morning officials with the school, Richland District One, and the City of Columbia held an honorary street naming ceremony in celebration.

Founded in 1926, Rosewood Elementary School is ranked by U.S. News and World Report as one of the highest rated elementary schools in the state of South Carolina.
