2 teens arrested in relation to Augusta Road shooting

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– West Columbia Police said two teens were arrested in relation to an Augusta Road shooting.

On Sunday, March 8, 2026, investigators arrested 19-year-old Jaeden Jones and 18-year-old Ty’ron Bethea on charges related to the shooting.

Jones was charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, criminal conspiracy, and possession of marijuana.

Bethea was charged with possession of marijuana.

The investigation into the 2400 block of Augusta Road shooting is ongoing, said police.
