Sumter Co. man accused in attempted murder

Sumter Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Deputies with the Sumter Co. Sheriff’s Office say a Rembert man is in custody accused of attempted murder and domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.

Investigators say Friday morning shots were fired at Plains Mobile Home Park near Broad St. and Eagle Rd.

According to authorities, a deputy saw a car speeding away from the victim’s home.

Officials say the deputy followed the driver and ultimately arrested Unice McCall.
