Richland Co. Coroner responds to house fire
Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Officials with the Columbia Fire Department say crews responded to a house fire on Harmon Rd. at 5:40 Friday morning.
A department spokesperson says once the fire was extinguished, crews searched the home and found an unresponsive person in a bedroom.
The Richland Co. Coroner’s Office was called to the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Richland Co. Fire Marshal’s Office.
