GOP gubernatorial debate on Tuesday night

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The next GOP gubernatorial debate is scheduled for Tuesday night, May 26, at Wofford College in Spartanburg.

Five Republicans were invited to take part due to meeting a 5% minimum polling average requirement set by the South Carolina Republican Party’s Debate Committee.

Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette, Attorney General Alan Wilson, Businessman Rom Reddy, Congresswoman Nancy Mace, and Congressman Ralph Norman were invited.

Evette has opted out of the debate and will hold a Get-Out-The-Vote rally instead.

The debate will begin at 7 p.m.
