EF-3 Tornado Slams Parts of Orangeburg County

This morning at roughly 6:00 AM a powerful tornado ripped through parts of Orangeburg County. It killed 2 people and injured at least 7 more as it passed close to Livingston and Neeses. The National Weather Service concluded that it was an EF-3 tornado with winds of 140 mph. That puts it on the high end of the EF scale that runs from EF-0 to EF-5.
