Last day to register for children’s summer golf session
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — It’s just about time to hit the green. The First Tee of Columbia at the James E. Clyburn Golf Center will hold summer golf session for children starting next week. Coaches will teach kids golf skills, the rules of the game and golf etiquette. It’s for kids ages five to 17. Friday is the last day to register. Registration information: WHAT: Peewees WHEN: Thursdays from 5:15-6:15 p.m AGES: 5-6 FEE: $20 per child WHAT: Player and Par WHEN: Wednesdays from 5:15-6:45 p.m. or Saturdays from 8:30-10 a.m. AGES: 7-17 FEE: $50 per child WHAT: Player-Teen WHEN: Thursdays from 5:15-7:15 p.m. AGES: 13 and up with prior golf experience FEE: $50 per child To register, apply online at www.TheFirstTeeColumbia.org or in person at the James E.
