SC announces record 542 new cases of COVID 19

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–South Carolina continues to see a spike in the number of new cases of COVID 19.
Monday DHEC announced a record 542 new cases of coronavirus.
That brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state since the outbreak began to 14,800.
The agency also announced 11 additional deaths.
557 South Carolinians have died due to the coronavirus according to state health officials.
