Huntsman making campaign swing through SC

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman is starting a three-day campaign swing through South Carolina.

The GOP presidential hopeful attends a town hall meeting at Sun City Hilton Head on Wednesday and later appears at the Bully Pulpit series sponsored by the communications department at the College of Charleston.

On Thursday, Huntsman attends a breakfast in Myrtle Beach before speaking later at Converse College in Spartanburg. On Friday, he’s on the campus of Winthrop University in Rock Hill for a town hall meeting.

Huntsman is campaigning in advance of January’s South Carolina Republican primary, which is the first in the South.
