North Charleston police hold expungement workshop

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Police in North Charleston are offering people convicted of crimes an opportunity to get a clean slate.

The North Charleston Police Department is holding a workshop on Wednesday to talk about what kinds of convictions can be expunged and what the requirements are.

There will also be information about what expungement means with regard to employers and how much it costs to have a record cleared.
