EF-3 Tornado Confirmed
On Tuesday a powerful tornado touched down in Allendale County and then plowed to the northwest between Bamberg and Branchville. The National Weather Service concluded that this was an EF-3 tornado (the scale goes from EF-0 to EF-5) with peak winds of 160 mph.
