Bomb threat forces temporary evacuation in Bythewood

BLYTHEWOOD, SC (WOLO) – Authorities with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department tell ABC Columbia they responded to a bomb threat in Blythewood this afternoon. Investigators say they evacuated the Computer Science Corporation on Wilson Boulevard in response to the threat. FEMA’s temporary midlands headquarters and the Department of Public Safety are located in the same complex. At this time deputies have not yet released which specific agency was threatened.
