Coastal Carolina Suffers Heart-Breaker at Arkansas, 39-18

Coastal Carolina led by 13 to start the fourth quarter and nearly spoiled Arkansas’ Homecoming, but the Razorbacks scored touchdowns with 10:09 and 1:55 left the game for a 39-38 come-from-behind win over Coastal Carolina at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

No. 1 Georgia edges Carolina, 24-10

Jake Fromm proved he could pass today as his two touchdown passes lead the Bulldogs to another Georgia win this season. South Carolina had its three game winning streak snatched as the Bulldogs continue undefeated, 9-0.

No. 4 Clemson holds off no. 20 NC State, 38-31

The No. 4 Clemson football team handed No. 20 NC State its first ACC loss of the year on Saturday, defeating the Wolfpack 38-31 at Carter-Finley Stadium on Saturday. With the win, Clemson improved to 8-1 overall and 6-1 in the ACC, while NC State slipped to 6-3 on the year and 4-1 in conference play.

Jerry Meyers to take indefinite medical leave of absence

Jerry Meyers will be taking an indefinite medical leave of absence from the University of South Carolina and will not return to his position as assistant coach for the Gamecock baseball team. At such time Meyers is capable of returning to work, he could be placed in another position within the USC Athletics Department.
