Georgia clinches second-straight series loss for Gamecocks

Solo home runs from Carlos Cortes, Jacob Olson and Hunter Taylor were not enough as Georgia put up crooked numbers in three separate innings in an 12-3 win over the University of South Carolina baseball team Saturday afternoon at Foley Field.

Gamecocks win 25th game of season, best Duke Tuesday

No. 15 South Carolina used a four-run fifth inning to propel itself to a 6-1 win over Duke on Tuesdaynight at Carolina Softball at Beckham Field. Mackenzie Boesel and Cayla Drotar hits paired with a Blue Devil error gave the Gamecocks four runs and a 5-1 lead through five as Carolina improved to 11-0 at home on the season.

Bill Belichick attends Gamecocks' Pro Day

Scouts from all 32 NFL franchises were in attendance for Carolina's annual Pro Day showcase, as outgoing Gamecocks looked to impress potential employers ahead of April's draft.

Gamecocks welcome NFL to campus for Pro Day

Approximately 40 scouts representing all 32 NFL teams and two Canadian Football League teams, and including New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, were in Columbia on Tuesday and the South Carolina Football program held its annual Pro Day.
