Gamecocks fall to Stanford in National Semifinals of College Cup

South Carolina saw its historic NCAA Tournament run end Friday when it fell to No. 1 ranked Stanford 2-0 in the Women’s College Cup Semifinals at Orlando City Stadium. The Gamecocks ended their 2017 campaign with a mark of 19-3-1 following the loss.

A'ja Wilson Named to Naismith and Wade Watch Lists

South Carolina senior A’ja Wilson earned spots on the Citizen Naismith Trophy Preseason Watch List and the Wade Watch List, those organizations announced today. A finalist for both awards last season, Wilson is now on the watch lists of all three national player of the year awards as well as the List Leslie Award, given to the top center in the nation.
