Lawmakers are trying to find answers as to why Americans are paying so much at the gas pump and why prices haven’t fallen much despite the government releasing one million barrels a day from the strategic petroleum reserve.

This prompted President Joe Biden to accuse Putin of war crimes once again Monday. The Kremlin called those accusations “unacceptable and disgraceful,” while calling the images a “hoax.” President Biden and NATO allies now vow to impose new sanctions against Russia.
