“Really the economy is firing on all cylinders. We’ve seen broad based recovery,” said Joey Von Nessen, USC research economist.
“This really is a great thing. We forget how much we want to be with people,” the governor said.
“This year is definitely better than last year. There are a lot of people out and everybody is more in the holiday spirit,” said Revente owner Heather Burns.
“Because of these incredibly effective and safe, life-saving vaccines, we don’t have to repeat history.”
When you get off the roads and back inside, there are dangers as well. The state fire marshal says that half of heating related deaths occur in winter months.
The event also hoped to shed a light on anti-Semitism which has been on the rise.
“I don’t want to hit the panic button but we are strongly encouraging South Carolinians to continue the safety protocols that helped us drive the numbers down from that high point back in September,” Traxler said.
Now, Dana says she believes her brother is no longer alive. She says he would have reached out to his family and added that disappearing would be out of character.
To help this ministry, the Salvation Army is asking for volunteers as they have seen a shortage this year.
“Having a new chapter will afford me a lot more time with my family,” Chief Zeigler said. “I’m really excited about that moving forward.”
