SUMTER, S.C. – A mother who went missing a week ago has turned herself in and is facing child neglect charges, after leaving her two young children alone. 27-year-old Shardae Evette Davis, of Ritz Mobile Home Park in Sumter, was charged Friday with two counts of unlawful conduct toward a child.
