Hewson fired a one-under-par 71 and Stephenson an even par 72 to lead Clemson to a tie for ninth in the 20 team field after 18 holes.
Austin Langdale fired a three-under-par 69 and joined teammate Stephen Behr with a second-place finish individually to lead Clemson to a second-place team finish a the Carpet Capital Collegiate Classic in Dalton, Ga on Sunday. Langdale and Behr finished with scores of 213 for the 54 holes, just one shot behind medalist Jacob Joiner of Georgia Tech.
The South Carolina men’s golf team posted a final-round 296 (+8) on Sunday at The Farm Golf Club to finish in third place at the Carpet Capital Collegiate.
The No. 8 Clemson women’s soccer team forced a scoreless draw (0-0) against South Florida on Sunday Sept. 13, 2015. Both teams now have a record of 6-0-1 for the 2015 season.
