Gray Collegiate holds off York Prep 56-53 to win 2A state championship
This is the fourth state championship for Gray Collegiate in the last five seasons.
The Benedict College Lady Tigers rallied from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat 12th-ranked Savannah State University and repeat as SIAC Champions on Saturday in the Rock Hill Sports & Events Center.

With the win, Clemson improved to 16-15 on the season and 8-12 in league play and marked Clemson’s fourth win in a row.
Jermaine Couisnard led South Carolina with 22 points, including 16 in the second half. James Reese V scored 18 and Erik Stevenson added 13 points and eight rebounds.
