The last time Christmas fell on a Sunday was in 2005. As this weekend approaches, some Midlands churches scramble to alter their plans, as they attempt to decide which day, Saturday or Sunday, is more appropriate.

Human Rabies Case

SUMTER, S.C. (AP) _ The Sumter County woman who was diagnosed with South Carolina's first human rabies case in more than 50 years has died. Sumter County Coroner Harvin Bullock said that 46-year-old Ivy Durant died about 10:15 p.m. Monday.
