(AP) — In a Nov. 22 story about Duke Energy's rate increase request in South Carolina, The Associated Press erroneously reported that Duke was negotiating with the Public Service Commission. Duke spokeswoman Paige Sheehan says the utility continues to negotiate with the groups intervening in the rate case before the commission in an effort to reach a settlement, not with the commission itself.
