Deadly accident claims another child's life

15 Indicted in Lancaster County Gang Crackdown

LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) _ More than a dozen people have been indicted as part of a gang roundup in Lancaster County. South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson and Sheriff Barry Faile said Monday 15 people had been indicted for gang activity.

Fake Social Worker

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) _ A Columbia man accused of posing as a social worker to take money from seven vulnerable adults faces new charges. Columbia Police Chief Randy Scott announced that 45-year-old Mitchell Smith was arrested Monday morning and charged with neglect of a vulnerable adult and simple possession of marijuana.

SC court affirms pregnant girlfriend murder
