Dabo Suspends 4 Players For Opener

Head football coach Dabo Swinney announced Tuesday the suspension of four players for the first game of the 2014 season at Georgia on August 30. David Beasley, Shaq Anthony, Garry Peters and Corey Crawford will miss the season opener due to a violation of team rules.

Women's Soccer Leads Clemson In Classroom

Nine of Clemson’s athletic teams and nearly half of all student-athletes exceeded a Fall Semester grade point average of 3.0, according to data released by the University Office of Institutional Research (OIR). As a whole, student-athletes earned a grade point average of 2.88 for the semester.

Clemson Hoops Beats Maryland In 2OT

In a game that featured 13 lead changes and two overtimes, Clemson prevailed 77-73 over Maryland in the final scheduled meeting between the two as ACC foes Sunday in Littlejohn Coliseum. Clemson’s win was its ninth in the ACC this season and pushed the Tigers to 18-10 overall. Maryland fell to 15-14 and 7-9 in conference play.

Rod Hall posted a career-high 20 points and Clemson registered its largest point total of the ACC regular season in a 73-56 victory over NC State in Littlejohn Coliseum on Tuesday. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Clemson, improving the Tigers to 16-9 on the season, 7-6 in the ACC. The Wolfpack fell to 16-10 and 6-7 in league play.

McDaniels, Clemson Fall In 2OT At Notre Dame

Despite 30 points, 14 rebounds and five blocked shots from K.J. McDaniels, Clemson fell to Notre Dame in double overtime on Tuesday, 68-64 at Purcell Pavilion. McDaniels rallied his teammates from a seven-point deficit in the final minutes of regulation, and from a four-point deficit in the final minute of the first overtime period. But in the end, Notre Dame improved to 13-12, 4-8 in the ACC. The Tigers dropped to 15-8 overall, 6-5 in league play.

Clemson Football Sets Attendance Record

Clemson averaged 82,048 fans per game during the 2013 football season, a record for the program that has called Memorial Stadium home since 1942. The NCAA recently released official attendance statistics for the 2013 season.

Clemson's Scott Named Top 25 Recruiter

Clemson recruiting coordinator and wide receivers coach Jeff Scott has been named one of the top 25 recruiters in the nation by Rivals.com. It is the second time in three years Scott has been among the top 25 recruiters nationally according to the national website, as he also earned the honor in 2012.
