Clemson Cruises By W. Carolina 12-1

The #13 Clemson Tigers totaled a season-high 17 hits in their 12-1 win over Western Carolina at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Wednesday night. The Tigers, who earlier defeated the Catamounts 12-9 in Cullowhee, NC on April 9, improved to 28-13 on the season. Western Carolina fell to 27-17 in 2013. The loss snapped the Catamounts' eight-game winning streak that started after Clemson's win in Cullowhee.

Miami Takes Clemson Series With 7-0 Win

Audra Smith Named Clemson Head Women’s Basketball Coach

Clemson University Director of Athletics Dan Radakovich announced on Monday that Audra Smith has been chosen to lead the Women’s Basketball program. Smith, a 1992 Virginia graduate, has spent the last nine seasons at the helm of the UAB program. She led the Blazers to 57 wins over the last three seasons, the most in any three-year period at UAB in 17 years.

Future Tiger Makes Cut At LPGA Major

Future Clemson women’s golfer Ashlan Ramsey make the cut by three shots at the Kraft Nabisco Championship in Rancho Mirage, CA on Friday afternoon. The native of Milledgeville, GA, who will be one of the leaders of J.T. Horton’s first Clemson women’s golf teams this coming August shot a second round 75 and stands in 42nd place after 36 holes of the first major of the year on the LPGA Tour.
