Two former Clemson golfers will be in the final pairing on the final day of a PGA Tour event for the first time on Sunday when Lucas Glover and Kyle Stanley compete for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Glover has a two shot lead at 14 under par after two rounds, two shots better than four players, including Stanley.

Clemson, ranked as high as #13 in the nation, scored all 11 of its runs in its final four innings at the plate to defeat #19 Georgia Tech 11-3 in the first game of a doubleheader at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Friday afternoon. The Tigers, who took a 1-0 series lead, improved to 29-13 overall and 14-8 in the ACC. The Yellow Jackets fell to 27-15 overall and 11-11 in ACC play.

Clemson Moves Up Ga Tech Series Finale

Due to the threat of inclement weather, the series-finale between Clemson and Georgia Tech scheduled for Saturday at 6:30 PM was moved to 11:00 AM. The two teams are slated to play game-two of the doubleheader and series on Friday at 7:00 PM.
