No. 20 Gamecocks hold off Bulldogs, 10-9

The Gamecock baseball team jumped out to a 9-1 lead over The Citadel Tuesday night (March 12) in Charleston, but the Bulldogs battled back to a run before senior Gage Hinson came in for a four-save and preserved a 10-9 win over the Bulldogs for its fourth win in a row.

Chris Silva earns SEC honor

Gamecock forward Chris Silva has been named the SEC Co-Player of the Week after averaging 23 points and 13.5 rebounds in two Gamecock wins last week. The award is the first weekly honor of Silva's career. Arkansas' Daniel Gafford was also named the Co-Player of the Week.

Clemson wins Saturday doubleheader over North Carolina

Clemson won both their Satrurday games against North Carolina at Doug Kingsmore Stadium, walking off with a 3-2 victory in the opener and then scoring big in their 17-3 blowout of the Tar Heels in the second contest.
