No. 11 Tigers to play doubleheader on Saturday

Due to the threat of inclement weather, Sunday's game between Clemson and Dallas Baptist at Doug Kingsmore Stadium was moved to become part of a doubleheader on Saturday. Therefore, the series concludes with a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 1 p.m., with approximately 60 minutes in between contests.

The Tigers, who took a 1-0 lead in the home-and-home season series and won their 18th game in a row over Furman, improved to 4-0, while the Paladins dropped to 3-1.

Gamecocks beat UNF, 5-2 Tuesday afternoon

The University of South Carolina baseball team picked up its third straight win, defeating North Florida, 5-2, behind a balanced effort from the pitching staff and strong plate appearances that included 10 hits, a double, a triple, and a home run.
