No. 1 Clemson wins third-straight ACC Championship

Fueled by a balanced offensive attack and a stifling defensive performance, the No. 1 Clemson football team won its third straight and 17th all-time ACC Championship, defeating the No. 7 Miami Hurricanes 38-3 on Saturday at Bank of America Stadium. With the win, Clemson improved to 12-1 overall, while Miami moved to 10-2.

Wofford beats Furman to advance in FCS Playoffs

The Wofford College football team defeated Furman 28-10 on Saturday afternoon at Gibbs Stadium to advance to the NCAA FCS Quarterfinals. The Terriers scored first and took a 14-10 lead into the half. Wofford scored two touchdowns in the second half and held the Paladins scoreless for the win. Wofford will visit North Dakota State next weekend.

Gamecocks fall to Stanford in National Semifinals of College Cup

South Carolina saw its historic NCAA Tournament run end Friday when it fell to No. 1 ranked Stanford 2-0 in the Women’s College Cup Semifinals at Orlando City Stadium. The Gamecocks ended their 2017 campaign with a mark of 19-3-1 following the loss.
