No. 8 Clemson edges Virginia, 3-2 Friday night

Four Tiger pitchers combined to allow only five hits in No. 8 Clemson's 3-2 victory over Virginia at Disharoon Park on Friday night. The Tigers, who took a 1-0 lead in the series, improved to 32-11 overall and 15-7 in the ACC. The Cavaliers dropped to 24-18 overall and 9-13 in ACC play.

Staley, USA beat China 83-46 in Seattle exhibition

Getting 16 points from Sylvia Fowles (Minnesota Lynx), 14 points from both Breanna Stewart(Seattle Storm) and Diana Taurasi (Phoenix Mercury), and 10 points by Elizabeth Williams (Atlanta Dream), the USA Women's National Team stormed past China 83-46 Thursday night in an exhibition game in Seattle, Washington.

Gamecocks host Mississippi State Friday

The Gamecocks (No. 13/14) return home for four-straight games, starting with a three-game set against Mississippi State on Friday at 6:00 PM ET on SEC Network Plus. Saturday’s game at noon will be on SEC Network while the series finale on Sunday at 1:00 PM will be on SEC Network Plus.

No. 14 Clemson blasts Presbyterian, 14-4

No. 14 Clemson set a season high for runs in its 14-4 win over Presbyterian College at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Wednesday night. With the victory, Clemson (31-11) secured a winning record in 2018 for the 54th-consecutive season, the third-longest active streak in the nation.
