Tyler Krieger’s one-out single to center in the 14th inning scored Tyler Slaton for the walkoff run as Clemson defeated Maine 5-4 in the first game of a doubleheader at Lake Olmstead Stadium on Saturday. The Tigers, who took a 2-0 lead in the series, improved to 3-2 on the season. The Black Bears dropped to 1-5.

Clemson Opens Maine Series With 10-1 Win

In below-freezing temperatures for most of the game, Clemson outlasted Maine 10-1 at Lake Olmstead Stadium on Friday. The series was originally scheduled to be played in Clemson, but it was moved to Augusta due to inclement weather and field conditions. The Tigers, who took a 1-0 lead in the series, improved to 2-2 on the season. Maine dropped to 1-4 in 2015.

Proveaux Finishes 3rd In Los Angeles

Clemson junior Cody Proveaux finished third among the 14 college players who competed for a spot in the Northern Trust Open College Showcase on Monday, Feb. 16. Proveaux shot a one-over-par 73 to finish third behind Will Zalatoris of Wake Forest (67) and George Cunningham of Arizona (72).

Clemson Postpones CSU Game

Due to inclement weather and field conditions, the Clemson vs. Charleston Southern game originally scheduled for 4 p.m. on Wednesday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium was postponed and rescheduled for 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8 at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

Georgia Tech Tops Tigers 63-52

A 14-0 run midway through the second half led Georgia Tech to a 63-52 victory Monday over Clemson in McCamish Pavilion. The Tigers dropped to 15-11 on the season, 7-7 in ACC play. The win was Georgia Tech’s 12th of the season, moving the Yellow Jackets to 3-11 in the league. It also stopped Clemson’s 10-game winning streak over Tech, second-longest in program history over another ACC foe.

Clemson Football Announces Promotions

Following the announcement of the 2015 football schedule, the Clemson athletic department, in conjunction with the alumni association, student affairs, IPTAY, the Tiger Letterwinners association and a host of other campus groups, announced the game designations for Clemson’s home schedule this fall.

Monday Night Hoops: Clemson At Ga Tech

Clemson tries to make it back-to-back ACC wins Monday night when they play at Georgia Tech at 7 p.m. The Tigers have won the last 10 meetings in the series with Georgia Tech, including three last season. The longest streak in program history over another ACC school was 11 against Virginia from 1960-65.
