Elliott And Scott Named Top 25 Recruiters

Clemson Co-Offensive Coordinators Tony Elliott and Jeff Scott have been ranked among the top 25 recruiters in the nation according to the Rivals.com website. It is the first time Clemson has had two assistant coaches make the national list in the same year.

Watson Earns 4.0 GPA In Classroom

Freshmen Artavis Scott and Deshaun Watson along with senior Daniel Rodriguez were named to the 2014 All-ACC Academic football team Wednesday. It marked the first time Clemson had a pair of freshmen make the team. Watson had a 4.0 GPA in the classroom in the fall to match his uniform number. He became the first Tiger quarterback to start at least one game and earn All-ACC Academic honors since 1984, when Mike Eppley accomplished the feat.

Notre Dame Edges Clemson 60-58

A last second Damarcus Harrison three-pointer fell just short as 10th-ranked Notre Dame knocked off Clemson, 60-58 in Littlejohn Coliseum on Tuesday. The Fighting Irish improved to 22-4 (10-3 in ACC) and the Tigers fell to 14-10 (6-6) in what turned out to be a thrilling contest in front of nearly 9,000 fans.

Duggar On Golden Spikes Watch List

Junior outfielder Steven Duggar (Moore, S.C.) was one of 50 players named to the preseason watch list for the 2015 Golden Spikes Award on Tuesday. Sponsored by Major League Baseball, 2015 marks the 38th year of the USA Baseball Golden Spikes Award, given to the top amateur baseball player in the country.

Notre Dame Comes To Littlejohn

Clemson basketball returns home after a two-day turnaround following Sunday’s game at Miami to face a No. 10 Notre Dame team. Tuesday’s 7 p.m. game on ESPN2 is the first time Clemson has hosted the Fighting Irish in Littlejohn Coliseum. Notre Dame won the first ever meeting between the two in South Bend last season.

Clemson Baseball TV/Radio Schedule

Clemson announced Monday that five regular-season baseball games will be televised and 42 more will be available exclusively via live online video on TigerCast or ESPN3 in 2015. Therefore, 47 Clemson regular-season baseball games will be on some form of live video in 2015.

Clemson Falls at Miami, 56-45

A 13-0 run early in the second half propelled Miami to a 56-45 win over Clemson, snapping the Tigers’ four-game winning streak in the ACC.

Clemson Wins 4th Straight, 62-56 At FSU

The Tigers built a double-digit lead on the road, and hung on in the final minutes despite a rash of missed free throws in a 62-56 victory over Florida State in the Donald Tucker Center on Wednesday. The win, Clemson’s third ACC road triumph of the season and fourth straight overall, pushed the Tigers to 14-8 (6-4 in league play). FSU dropped to 12-11 and 4-6 as the Tigers split the season series.

Clemson's 2015 recruiting class ranked fourth in the nation according to ESPN.com and Rivals.com, seventh by PrepStars, 10th by 247 Sports and 15th by Scout.com.

Clemson Volleyball Coach Resigns

Jolene Jordan Hoover has announced her resignation as the head coach of the Clemson volleyball program. Hoover led the Tigers to a 452-259 record in 22 seasons. Not only is she the all-time winningest coach in Clemson volleyball history, she is also the all-time winningest coach among head coaches of all women’s sports programs in Clemson history.

Roper Co-ACC Player Of The Week

Junior guard Jordan Roper was named ACC Co-Player of the Week on Monday, along with Louisville guard Terry Rozier. Duke freshman Jahlil Okafor took home ACC Rookie of the Week honors. Roper is Clemson’s first ACC Player of the Week selection since Jerai Grant won the honor in 2011.

Tigers Down Robert Morris 64-57

Despite a sluggish opening half, a flurry of Damarcus Harrison threes early in the second half helped lift the Clemson Tigers over the Robert Morris Colonials 64-57 on Tuesday.

Clemson Crushes Oklahoma 40-6

Cole Stoudt threw for three touchdowns and ran for another, and 17th-ranked Clemson routed Oklahoma 40-6 in the Russell Athletic Bowl on Monday. The Tigers (10-3) reached double-digit victories for the fourth consecutive season. Clemson was 10-4 in 2011, 11-2 in 2012 and 11-2 in 2013. Stoudt was 26 for 36 for a season-high 319 yards. He was sacked four times, but Clemson never turned the ball over. Meanwhile, the Tigers, who came in ranked No. 1 in the nation in total defense, held the Sooners' offense to just 275 yards.

Clemson Wraps Up Bowl Practice

Clemson’s 2014 senior class had its final practice together at Thunder Field, the facility adjacent to the Orlando Citrus Bowl Stadium. The 28 active Clemson seniors and the rest of the Tigers are preparing for the 2014 Russell Athletic Bowl on Monday night at 5:30 pm against 24th ranked Oklahoma.

Swinney Likes What He Sees At Practice

Friday was termed a successful and rewarding day for the Clemson football team in the eyes of Head Coach Dabo Swinney. The Tigers spent the morning meeting with children at the Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee, Florida, then had a “very good” practice in the afternoon at the Thunder Field facility adjacent to the Orlando Citrus Bowl Stadium.

Clemson Hoops Back In Action Monday

Clemson returns home for its final game before Christmas break. The Tigers face Oakland at 7:05 p.m. Monday in the first meeting between the two programs.

Clemson Mourns Death Of Doug Thomas

Former Clemson football and track athlete Doug Thomas died of a heart attack on Friday at a hospital in Charlotte, N.C. A high school football coach in the Charlotte area, Thomas was 45-years-old.
