Students at Columbia International University spent their Monday afternoon cleaning up Columbia as a part of their “Serving Cola City” project. The students teamed up to take on various roles around the city, from litter pick-up, to painting, yard work and even building a wheelchair ramp.
Former Major League All Star Darryl Strawberry spoke with students at Columbia International University on Tuesday. Strawberry played outfield for the Mets, Dodgers and Yankees during his time in the big leagues.
40,000 pounds of potatoes were delivered to Columbia International University Tuesday morning and were bagged by students. These bagged potatoes are being distributed to the community through Midlands churches and charities to help those in need.
