The families of victims of the Surfside, Florida condominium collapse have agreed to a $55 million tentative settlement.
A dog who served as an emotional relief canine after the Surfside collapse is now home resting in Philadelphia. The trained crisis response dog got hurt while helping dig through the rubble. That injury made returning home difficult, until a good Samaritan stepped in.
In Surfside, operations have transitioned to a recovery mission rather than search and rescue. More remains have been recovered, raising the death toll to 60 people.
A moment of silence was held for victims of the Surfside condo collapse. This comes as authorities announced the mission has moved on from search and rescue to recovery.

The search for victims of the collapse of a Miami-area high-rise condominium reached its 14th day on Wednesday, as workers uncovered 10 more bodies from the rubble and officials sounded more and more grim about the prospects of finding anyone alive. The death toll now stands at 46.
