Woman Attacked While Holding Grandchild, Suspect Sought

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – A man is wanted by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office for robbing a victim while she was holding her two-year-old grandchild.

SCSO’s Public Information Officer Ken Bell, said the suspect snatched the victim’s purse in the parking lot of the El Cheapo convenience store located at 949 N. Main Street about 8:30 p.m. on December 10.
