COLUMBIA SC (WOLO)–About a month ago, a new day dawned in donuts for the Midlands, as Katie McCanna became the local owner of Duck Donuts, near Whole Food on Devine Street.  The company, which started in 2006 near Duck North Carolina as become a fast favorite in the communities that they serve, and according to McCanna, they are quickly becoming a staple in Columbia.

McCanna joined Tyler Ryan and Grace Joyal on Good Morning Columbia to teach them how to create the custom toppings that have been the signature of Duck Donuts since 2006.
