Winter was Wettest on Record in U.S.

This winter was the wettest one on record in the United States. Well actually it was December, January, and February (what’s called “meteorological winter”) that broke this record. And we’ve been keeping track of rain for 124 years across this country. You’ll notice on the map below that Tennessee saw its wettest year, while most of country from the Plains to the east coast, had years that came in the top 5-10.
