Sumter Police searching for missing elderly man

SUMTER CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Sumter Police are searching for an elderly man who’s been missing since Tuesday night.

According to officers, Joe Nathan Sumpter, 76, were last seen around 8:30 p.m. at his Breezy Bay home.

His family & officers believe he walked from the home and may require medical care.

He is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs about 195 lbs. and was wearing an Army jacket and gray sweatpants.
