COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — According to the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization, Logan Wells, Miss Palmetto’s Teen, was crowned Miss South Carolina’s Teen 2026 on Friday evening at the Township Auditorium in Columbia.

Wells earned the title along with a $12,500 scholarship meant to help further her educational and career goals.

Wells is a Columbia native and rising high school senior. In addition to winning the title, she earned the Overall Interview Award and Overall Evening Gown Award, as well as Preliminary Fitness and Preliminary Evening Wear awards.

As Miss South Carolina’s Teen, Wells will serve as a brand ambassador for the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization while representing the Palmetto State at Miss America’s Teen.

The organization says Wells’ community service initiative, Fresh Friends, promotes inclusivity and volunteerism by connecting high school students with meaningful service opportunities in their communities.

Outside of the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization, Wells is a member of her school’s varsity cross country, track and cheerleading teams. She plans to pursue a career in medicine and hopes to become a neurosurgeon after completing an internship with a local neurosurgeon. She says her passion for service has also led her to volunteer with organizations including Bold Hope, Home Works and Jack and Jill.

Wells’ journey with the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization began as a Palmetto Star, where she participated in the mentoring program for four years before earning local titles as Miss Columbia’s Teen and Miss Palmetto’s Teen.
